The Ricoh MP C306/C307 drum unit is a compact and delicate assembly. When installing the D2970122 blade, you must ensure the surface of the OPC drum is free of any physical scratches.
Pro-Tip: Never install the blade "dry." Apply a thin, even layer of Setting Powder (Kynar) or a small amount of yellow toner to the polyurethane edge. This provides the necessary lubrication for the first few seconds of rotation, preventing "blade flip" which can permanently damage both the new blade and the expensive OPC drum.
