Ricoh MP C306 / C307 / C406 Cyan Developer Powder (225g) – TON9197
Product Overview Restore the professional color registration and depth of your Ricoh MFP with our Premium Cyan Developer Powder. Specifically formulated for the Ricoh MP C306, C307, and C406 series, this 225g bottle (TON9197) provides the exact volume needed to overhaul your cyan development unit.
In Ricoh’s dual-component system, the developer acts as the magnetic carrier that "transports" the toner to the drum. Over time, these carrier particles lose their coating, resulting in "pale" blue tones, grainy images, or cyan toner leaking inside the machine. Replacing the developer powder is the most effective way to restore OEM-level saturation and prevent waste.
Key Features:
- Optimized Magnetic Charge: Engineered to maintain a high triboelectric charge, ensuring a stable "toner-to-carrier" bond for clean, sharp prints.
- Precise 225g Fill: Pre-measured for the MP C306/C307 series development units, ensuring the correct Toner Concentration (TC) ratio for the machine’s sensors.
- Consistent Cyan Saturation: Specifically tuned to deliver accurate sky blues, teals, and greens (cyan-based) without background fogging.
- Cost-Efficient Maintenance: Allows technicians to refresh the development unit rather than purchasing a complete, expensive new housing.

Technician’s Maintenance Tip:
The Ricoh MP C306/C307 series uses a sophisticated "TCR" (Toner Concentration) sensor. When replacing the 225g Cyan Developer, the unit must be thoroughly vacuumed of all old carrier first.
Pro-Tip: After pouring the new TON9197 Cyan Developer into the unit, turn the drive gear manually to ensure the magnetic roller is "coating" evenly with a visible "brush" of powder. Once installed, enter the Service Mode (SP Mode) and run the "SP2-801: TD Sensor Initial Setting" for the Cyan channel. This is mandatory to tell the machine's logic that new developer has been installed, otherwise, it may over-toner the unit and cause a mess.
