Konica Minolta Bizhub 283 / 363 / 423 Premium MKI OPC Drum
Product Overview Maintain the professional output of your monochrome MFP with our Premium MKI Grade OPC Drum. Engineered specifically for the Konica Minolta Bizhub 283, 363, and 423 series, this high-durability cylinder is the ideal choice for businesses looking to rebuild their DR-411 drum units without the high cost of OEM replacements.
The MKI grade represents a superior manufacturing standard, featuring a multi-layered organic photoconductor coating that is specifically tuned to the charging characteristics of the Bizhub 3-series. This ensures consistent grayscale transitions and sharp text, even during high-volume print runs.
Key Features:
- MKI High-Durability Coating: Features a reinforced surface layer that resists abrasion from the cleaning blade, significantly extending the life of the drum.
- Superior Charge Acceptance: Optimized to work perfectly with the machine's corona wire or charge roller system, preventing "background fogging" and light prints.
- Sharp Monochrome Detail: Designed to deliver high-contrast blacks and fine lines, essential for professional invoices, reports, and blueprints.
- Cost-Effective Maintenance: An excellent solution for service technicians; replacing only the drum cylinder allows for a high-quality rebuild of the original imaging unit housing.

Technician’s Maintenance Tip:
The Bizhub 283/363/423 series uses a Drum Cleaning Blade that must be replaced whenever you install a new MKI Drum. A worn blade will leave invisible microscopic scratches on the new cylinder, which will eventually lead to vertical black lines.
Pro-Tip: After installing the new drum, perform the "Drum Peculiarity Adjustment" in the Service Mode. This calibrates the machine’s sensors to the light-reflective properties of the new MKI surface, ensuring optimal toner density and preventing excessive waste toner buildup.
