Technician’s Maintenance Tip:
The i-Series machines use an advanced Simitri® V toner that requires a perfectly clean drum surface. When installing the CET-101034 drum, it is mandatory to replace the Drum Cleaning Blade at the same time. An old blade will have microscopic nicks that can scratch the new CET coating within the first 1,000 pages.
Pro-Tip: After reassembling the drum unit, navigate to the Service Mode and perform the "Drum Peculiarity Adjustment". This allows the machine to calibrate its ID sensors to the specific light-reflection properties of the CET drum, ensuring perfect color registration and density from the start.
