Technician’s Maintenance Tip:
The Bizhub 958 series uses a high-yield monochrome toner that can be abrasive. When installing the DR-912 blade, it is mandatory to lubricate the edge.
Pro-Tip: Apply a generous but even layer of Setting Powder (Kynar) or a small amount of toner to the blade’s edge. If the blade is installed "dry," the high-torque motor of the 758/808/958 will cause the blade to flip or stick to the drum instantly upon startup, potentially damaging the expensive OPC drum.
