Technician’s Maintenance Tip:
The ApeosPort-V C2263/C2265 series uses a very sensitive Internal Discharge (IDC) sensor to monitor drum health. When installing a new Fuji Grade Drum:
- Light Sensitivity: Keep the drum in its protective bag until the very moment of installation. Excessive exposure to office light can "fatigue" the coating, causing temporary background shading.
- The "Rebuild Duo": For the best results, never install a new Fuji drum with an old cleaning blade. A worn blade will create microscopic "rings" around the drum within the first 1,000 copies.
- Sensor Calibration: After installation, run the "Calibration" or "Full Adjust" from the machine's user menu. This allows the machine to calibrate the laser intensity to the fresh Fuji coating.
