Canon iR Advance C5535i / C5540i / C5550i / C5560i Fuji-Grade OPC Drum (GPR-55)
Product Overview Maintain the elite imaging standards of your Canon fleet with our Fuji-Grade OPC Drum. Specifically engineered for the Canon iR-ADV C5500 and DX C5700 series, this imaging cylinder is the premium replacement for the core component within the GPR-55, NPG-71, and C-EXV 51 drum units.
Manufactured using Fuji's specialized Japanese organic photoconductor technology, this drum features a high-sensitivity coating that perfectly matches the electrical properties of the Canon engine. It offers superior resistance to surface abrasion and electrical "fatigue," ensuring that your high-speed machine delivers consistent, vibrant color and razor-sharp text from the first print to the end of the maintenance cycle.
Key Features:
- Fuji Japanese Technology: Provides the exact electrical charge-to-light response required by the Canon laser scanning unit (LSU), ensuring perfect halftone reproduction.
- Optimized for V2 Color Toner: Engineered to interact seamlessly with Canon’s specialized toner particles, reducing waste and preventing background fogging.
- High-Speed Durability: Formulated with a hard-surface layer designed to handle the high-friction environment of 35ppm to 60ppm engines.
- Universal Color Slot: This single drum cylinder fits any of the four imaging positions: Black (K), Cyan (C), Magenta (M), or Yellow (Y).

Technician’s Maintenance Tip:
The Canon C5500/C5700 series uses a very sensitive Internal Discharge (IDC) sensor to monitor drum health. When installing a new Fuji Grade Drum:
- Version Consistency: Ensure you are using the correct cleaning blade. For high-speed Fuji drums, we recommend pairing them with a Fuji-Grade Polyurethane Blade to ensure synchronized wear.
- Light Protection: Keep the drum in its protective bag until the moment of installation. Excessive exposure to ambient light can "fatigue" the coating, causing temporary background shading.
- Sensor Calibration: After installation, run the "Full Adjust" or "Graduation Adjustment" from the machine's user menu. This allows the system to calibrate the laser intensity to the specific reflection properties of the fresh Fuji coating.
