Canon iR Advance C5535i / C5540i / C5550i / C5560i Drum Cleaning Blade (Fuji Grade) – GPR-55

Product Overview Achieve superior cleaning performance in your high-speed Canon MFP with our Fuji-Grade Drum Cleaning Blade. Specifically engineered for the Canon iR-ADV C5500 and DX C5700 series, this blade is the professional replacement for the cleaning component within the GPR-55, NPG-71, and C-EXV 51 drum units.

Manufactured using Fuji's specialized Japanese polyurethane, this blade offers a unique balance of flexibility and structural rigidity. It is designed to maintain a microscopic "squeegee" seal against the OPC drum surface, effectively removing residual Canon V2 toner even at speeds of 60 pages per minute. Using a Fuji-grade blade is the best way to eliminate persistent vertical lines and "toner dragging" on high-volume print jobs.

Key Features:

  • Fuji Japanese Polyurethane: Features an ultra-smooth, abrasion-resistant edge that minimizes friction on the OPC drum while maximizing cleaning efficiency.
  • High-Speed Stability: Engineered to resist "blade chatter" and vibration, ensuring silent operation and consistent image clarity in production-level environments.
  • Thermal Resistance: Formulated to maintain its shape and tension even during long, high-heat print runs typical of the C5560i series.
  • Universal Color Fit: Compatible with all four imaging positions: Black (K), Cyan (C), Magenta (M), and Yellow (Y).

Specifications:

  • Product: Drum Cleaning Blade (Wiper Blade)
  • Grade: Fuji (Premium Japan Material)
  • Drum Unit Reference: GPR-55 / NPG-71 / C-EXV 51

Technician’s Maintenance Tip:

The Canon GPR-55/NPG-71 drum unit is a precision assembly. When installing the Fuji-Grade blade, the state of the Charge Roller (PCR) is critical.

Pro-Tip: Before reassembling the drum unit, ensure the Waste Toner Collection Auger is rotating freely. If waste toner cannot be evacuated, it will create back-pressure on the Fuji blade, causing it to lift and fail. Always prime the blade edge with a light dusting of Yellow Toner or Setting Powder. Without this initial lubrication, the high-grip Fuji polyurethane can "grab" the dry drum and flip on the very first rotation, potentially damaging the drum's motor drive.
