Canon iR 2525 / 2535 / 2545 & iR-ADV 4025 / 4225 / 4245 Drum Cleaning Blade – CN Grade
Product Overview Maintain crisp, streak-free monochrome prints with our CN-Grade Drum Cleaning Blade. This highly versatile component is engineered for the Canon imageRUNNER 2500 series and the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4000/4200 series. It is the direct replacement for the cleaning edge within the GPR-34, GPR-35, and GPR-42/43 drum units.
As the drum rotates, this blade acts as a precision wiper to remove residual toner. If your machine is producing vertical black lines, "gray" backgrounds, or toner buildup on the internal rollers, replacing the cleaning blade is the most effective and affordable maintenance step. Our CN-Grade version offers a reliable "squeegee" effect at a fraction of the OEM cost, making it ideal for high-volume office environments.
Key Features:
- Durable Polyurethane Edge: Features a resilient polymer edge designed to handle the abrasive nature of monochrome toner while protecting the OPC drum surface.
- Broad Fleet Compatibility: A single SKU that fits multiple generations of Canon A3 monochrome machines, simplifying your spare parts inventory.
- Cost-Efficient Maintenance: High-quality "CN" manufacturing provides stable performance for the entire life cycle of the drum unit at a budget-friendly price point.
- Exact Fitment: Molded to the precise specifications of the original mounting frame for easy, "drop-in" installation without modifications.

Technician’s Maintenance Tip:
These Canon monochrome engines are known for their longevity, but they produce a significant amount of waste toner. When installing the CN-Grade blade:
- Empty the Waste: Before mounting the new blade, ensure the waste toner transport area inside the drum unit is thoroughly vacuumed. A backup of toner will force the new blade to "lift," causing immediate streaks.
- Lubrication: Do not install the blade "dry." Apply a light dusting of Black Toner or Setting Powder to the polyurethane edge. Without lubrication, the blade can "grab" the drum surface upon startup, causing it to flip or damage the drum drive gears.
- Inspect the Charge Roller: If you still see light gray streaks after replacing the blade, wipe the Primary Charge Roller (PCR) with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove any microscopic film.
